A well deserved loss

Power has changed in Sweden. The old, tired, content SAP (s) lost their position. They left the social democratic movement ages ago in their desperate attempt to kling on to power and finally they got what they deserved. They lost on their old main issue - the jobs. They have spoken for years and years about solidarity, but meanwhile more and more people have become second class citizens. Up to a forth of the potential work force have been put away, hidden in the statistics (see the GP editorial from 20 May 2005 linked).

I do not like the politics of moderaterna (m), they are cheap egoists, but at least we'll see some change! And hopefully we can at least discuss the "Swedish system" with very strong unions and the cooperation between SAP, LO (the biggest swedish union and an important contributor to SAP's finances) and the big companies (ruled by Investor (the Wallenberg family and the SEB bank) and Industrivärden (clerks around Handelsbanken)).
